Frequently Asked Questions
How much are classes?
Class tuition is based on how many hours a student/family is taking at Dance-N-Groove in a week. Tuition covers our 40 week year and is broken down into 10 monthly installments due by the 1st of the month. First and last month installment is due at student's first class.
What is my child expected to wear?
All students enrolled in a dance class must wear a leotard, tights and required dance shoes. All required dancewear can be purchased through the studio, at the Dancer's Closet in Round Rock, TX or online at Curtain Call for Class.
What class would my child be in?
Class placement is determined by age, ability, behavior and comprehension of skills. Students are first divided by age then placed in a class that will most benefit him/her. Safe progression is our main priority at Dance-N-Groove therefore Ms Kirstin has the final say in what class students are placed in.
Is it too late to start classes?
No, it is not too late to start classes. Fall classes begin in August, typically a week after Hutto ISD begins school. Students may enroll and start classes at anytime however we encourage you to register early as classes fill up and to get the most out of classes. Students starting after February 1st may not be allowed to participate in the end of year show. Class us today to check on class availability. Our dance season runs September - June.
Do you have a recital?
Every year we hold an annual end-of-year show that allows all students a chance to perform on a real stage for family and friends. Each class does 1-2 routines in the style(s) they learned during the year. Students participating in show will be required to purchase costumes. We do hold fundraisers to help reduce the cost of costumes.
Where are you located?
We are located at 2351 Limmer Loop.
